All washed and cleaned sitting on the countertop waiting for Monday Afternoon Salsa Time. By 7:00 pm, after an easy drive home, we had corn in the pot and potatoes bathing in butter. You know I'm not lyin' about that---just check out the stovetop.
We had a delicious dinner with homegrown tomatoes, potatoes, corn and peppers stuffed with cheese. O, add a few cucumbers to that menu! I thought I had died and gone to heaven which I’ve heard tell has vast gardens tended by people who didn’t learn the spiritual gifts of gardening during their time on Earth. The moral of that story is: either dig in the dirt now and get it over with, or dig for time and all eternity.
My Plate! Mmmmmmm, Dat Sum Good!
We had a wonderful time...so glad we made the quick trip and hope we didn't interrupt your plans too much. I loved talking with Diane again, as tender-hearted as she's always been, and even more beautiful than ever. Some people grow old gracefully---and some us us just grow old.
I'm glad Michael had a chance to get to know her since we don't make it down to Louisiana very often. As in: never.
Love to all!
(have a safe trip home, Diane. Love you!)
Carolyn

Let's Talk! It gets lonely in here!
