Hi everyone! Did you celebrate New Year's? I sure did! I crawled in bed at 11:22 pm, and slept 9.5 hours! That's what I call celebrating - now it's the first day of a new year and I feel GREAT! I miss you guys so much I can't even tell you. This Christmas was so awesome, I had a hard time leaving. As much as I love Austin, I didn't care much for coming back to an empty apartment.
So I did grocery shopping. And picked up packages. And got a car wash. And did everything I could to avoid my apartment for a day or two. Then I got settled back in, hauled all of my weights back downstairs, and scrubbed every inch of my garage to try and clean up the dust and debris after replacing the walls and ceiling because of the plumbing disaster...
I also started working on a New Year's email to everyone, as a THANKS for such a great Christmas with pictures and stuff. But then the email started taking a lot of time (and was a little light on substance), so I started lagging, and now it's New Year's day! The truth is that when my happiest moments are spent with the people I love, summarizing my happiest moments in a letter to the people I love feels... redundant. So I told my pet gargoyle all about it instead, and he was very sorry that he couldn't be there to celebrate with us.
Speaking of which, my Christmas presents this year were awesome! I've been learning to use my new razor. The thing cleans itself, can you believe that??? Definitely a new level of fancy for me - the instructions say to give your skin 30 days to get used to it and you will never go back, but I'm pretty much sold on it already. It's just so much easier, and gives a close shave, and doesn't seem to be irritating my skin too bad. Hopefully this will put an end to my adventures in shaving the hair off my face.
So now I have my plans for the year, I'm well-shaven, and I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow! Yup. That's a nine-foot statue in our work lobby at Bioware! Did I tell you guys that I love my job???
Thank you for having me. It was awesome going to Idaho. Thanks for the Christmas gift Grandpa and Grandma, and thanks for the amazing enchiladas! Mmmmmm.......!!!
Love you all so much!
