I got on a Sugar Beet kick last night and this morning, scanning the Net for old photographs. This photo isn't really old in the way we think of 'old'. It's an image from the Ukraine with a farmer carrying his fresh load of sugar beets to the factory.
Not sure what kind of factory he's going to. Maybe there's a bunch of people stirring pots over fires????????
Anyway, there are three links at the top of the page. Eventually, I'll add several more but for now, one link takes you to the HOME page. The second link brings up a long page of vintage images. It's titled SUGAR BEETS. Pictures are fun to look at even if there's no text to read.
